Physician Assistant (Associate) or Nurse Practitioner – Interventional Radiology

The Department of Radiology at the Keck School of Medicine of University of Southern California is seeking an exceptional Physician Assistant (Associate) or Nurse Practitioner for a full-time position in the Division of Interventional Radiology (IR). This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-centered, academic environment, supporting the full spectrum of Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures.
About the Role
The Division of Interventional Radiology at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California provides comprehensive services, performing a wide variety of procedures across all areas of IR. The Physician Assistant (Associate) or Nurse Practitioner will play an essential role in assisting with patient care, supporting complex procedures, and maintaining a strong presence in our dedicated IR clinic.
The Physician Assistant (Associate) or Nurse Practitioner will also perform image-guided procedures, such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, and other interventions, providing high-quality care to patients.
The Physician Assistant (Associate) or Nurse Practitioner will contribute to patient care at our premier clinical sites, including:
Keck Hospital of USC
USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center
USC Arcadia Hospital
USC Verdugo Hills Hospital
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the radiology team, providing essential support in clinical care, patient management, and education of trainees.

Requirements
Position Requirements
Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program or Nurse Practitioner program
Current California licensure or eligibility (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner)
Experience in Interventional Radiology or a related field preferred
Strong ability to assist in a variety of IR procedures, including paracenteses, thoracenteses, and other image-guided interventions
A commitment to patient care, education, and interdisciplinary collaboration
An interest in participating in clinical research and scholarly activities is desirable
